Garbage bag tags may be picked up beginning on November 5, 2018 at the Township Office, 87 John Street South, Aylmer, during regular business hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday).
Most non-vacant residential properties are eligible to receive an annual allotment of bag tags. Your 2018 final property tax bill identifies if your property is eligible to receive the annual allotment for 2019. The registered property owner, as identified on the 2018 property tax bill, will require photo identification to pick up the tags.
If you are unable pick up your tags at the Township Office, any person over 18 years of age with proper identification can pick up the bag tags for the landowner. The landowner must first complete an Authorization Form. The person picking up the tags must present the completed form and sign for the tags. They will then be responsible to provide the property owner with the bag tags.
If you have any questions regarding the 2019 bag tag process, please contact the Township Office at 519-773-5344.
Dog tags were issued via invoice to all dog owners in our system early in January. The amount owing along with the due date was noted on the invoice. Payments may be mailed in to the Township Office, made at the counter during regular business hours, or paid online. If you have a new dog or do not receive an invoice, please contact the Township Office at your earliest convenience to obtain your dog tag. Click here for additional information.
