Roads Division

 

The roads division consists of 12 operators, 2 Foreman and a Roads & Construction Manager.  The roads division of the Physical Services Department provides maintenance to both Township and County roads within the Municipality. Talbot Line (Highway #3) is a ministry of transportation patrolled and maintained road.  If you have any concerns or inquiries in regards to maintenance on this highway contact the MTO's maintenance contractor for this road -Steed & Evans - 519-873-4223.

 

 

 

Investing in Malahide.  Township of Malahide Director of Physical Services Rob Johnson, Grader Operator Bob Watters, Township of Malahide Mayor John Wilson and Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Steve Peters were on hand to recognize the Province of Ontario's $552,318 investment in the Township of Malahide's infrastructure needs through an Investing in Ontario grant.  The Township of Malahide used the grant for ongoing Vienna Line improvements and the purchase of a new grader.For more information click on the following link- Investing in Ontario-Press Release

No Overnight Parking on Roads or Streets

We will be enforcing "No Overnight Parking" on all County and Township roads and streets in Malahide Township including Port Bruce and Springfield.

Effective November 15, 2009, for Winter Control Operations, all vehicles parked on the roadways or Municipal properties between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.will be ticketed with a $25.00 fine.  This by-law will be enforced diligently until March 15, 2010.
