1.Starting January 1, 2026, the way recycling is collected in the Township of Malahide and across Ontario will change under the Blue Box Regulation (O. Reg. 391/21). The Township will no longer operate or manage the curbside recycling program. Circular Materials Ontario will assume full control and responsibility for curbside recycling collection in Malahide. They’ve issued this and may issue other marketing materials independently, since it’s now their program to operate: https://www.malahide.ca/circularmaterialsinfo/
2.Customer service requests related to recycling collection will be handled by Miller Waste Systems rather than the Township.

3.The 2026 Waste Management calendars are available online. Malahide Garbage/Recycling Calendars are not mailed with your bag tag package but can be printed, picked up from the Township Office, or you can subscribe online for a weekly reminder to be sent to you.
