Public Safety Announcement: Port Bruce & Water Emergencies

The Township of Malahide reminds all residents and visitors that in the event of an emergency in Port Bruce, whether on the beach, in the water, or elsewhere in the village, the Elgin OPP and Malahide Emergency Services are your primary response agencies. 

In an emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately. 

We recognize that someone in distress in the water may not be able to call for help themselves. That’s why it’s so important that bystanders on shore act quickly, call 9-1-1 without delay and provide as much detail as possible about the location and nature of the emergency.

If you see an emergency, don’t wait, don’t assume someone else will call. Call 9-1-1.
