Significant Weather Event Ended

The Township of Malahide has ended the Significant Weather Event previously declared.

Municipal Staff continue to monitor road and weather conditions and will deploy resources as required to ensure public safety. Drivers and Pedestrians are advised to continue to exercise caution when navigating snow covered roads and sidewalks.

Significant Weather Event Declared

In response to a SNOWFALL WARNING issued by Environment Canada for our area, the Township of Malahide has declared a

Significant Weather Event effective immediately. This declaration is made pursuant to s.16.9 of O.Reg. 239/02.

Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways, as amended. Drivers and Pedestrians are advised to exercise extreme caution when navigating roads and sidewalks. Municipal staff continue to monitor road and weather conditions and will deploy resources where possible to ensure public safety.
