Correspondence to Council can be sent to the Township Office, 87 John Street, South, Aylmer, Ontario, N5H 2C3, or e-mailed to the Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk.

Request to Appear before the Council

If you have a concern about something happening in the Township, contact the Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk to discuss the issue before registering as a delegation. Some concerns can be addressed by staff without having to go to Council for a decision.

If your issue cannot be resolved by staff and you wish to appear before Council as a delegation, a written request (letter or email) must be received by the Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk by 12:00 noon on the Monday prior to the Council meeting.  The written request should explain the reason for appearing before Council.   It is recommended that all groups appoint one person to act as their spokesperson. The Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk will confirm that you have been included on the agenda prior to the meeting.
